Hot Damn Scandal began as a nebula of traveling musicians formed around the songs of founder Pete Irving over 15 years ago. Firmly rooted in the Northwest since 2013, the band plays what they now describe as "Cabaret Americana"; a music found at the crossroads of Tom Waits and Gershwin. While the cast of characters stills rotates every so often the long time regulars are pretty consistent at this point: Mickey Stylin on the Bass, Ani Banani on the Musical Saw, Jimmy Austin on the Trombone, Jane Covert-Bowlds on the Tenor Saxophone, Kris Staples-Weyrauch on the Electric Guitar, and David Lofgren on the Drums are the most common compatriots to Pete's continued presence in the band.
